The HealthierUS School Challenge (HUSSC) is a voluntary initiative that recognizes schools participating in the National School Lunch Program that have created healthier school environments through promotion of nutrition and physical activity. Sodexo has helped 111 schools across the country earn this prestigious certification.
We offer a minimum of 6 sides daily with lunch choices: fresh garden salad greens plus fruits and vegetables in an inviting variety. Additionally, we offer locally-grown items whenever seasonally available. All meals include low-fat or fat-free milk.

State Transition Assistance for Breakfast and Lunch Expenses (STABLE) funds

The STABLE funds apply to SY 2023-24 and is a State of Connecticut program established through Public Act No. 23-204 (Connecticut State Budget) and funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) 2021. The STABLE funds allow eligible school food authorities (SFAs) to provide one SBP meal per student per school day at no cost to all students participating in the SBP and one NSLP meal per school day at no cost for students approved for reduced-price meals that are participating in the NSLP. Parents / Guardians are encouraged to submit a free & reduced priced meal application to determine if their student is eligible to receive free or reduced priced meals.
